It's been a crazy couple of weeks, and we are finally moved in to the new home. We still have a garage full of boxes that need unpacking and are in desperate need of some blinds for the windows. The kids are loving the new house, running around, climbing up and down the stairs. Kayla is sleeping in her own room, which is an amazing feat in itself, given she has been sleeping with us for the past 2 years. I'm so proud of her : )

congrats on finally moving in the new house!!! :)
ReplyDeletesuper cute picture of the two! :)
Did you do anything special to get her to stay in her own bed? We've been trying to get our toddler to sleep in her "big girl bed" for a couple of months now. At first she would scream her face off about it. Now she tolerates it but she'll still sneak into our bed in the middle of the night when we're asleep.
ReplyDeleteThanks mushroommeadows!
ReplyDeleteRengirl, we just put her in her bed, told her this was her 'own' room now and she just kind of reluctantly agreed to sleep there. Of course she woke up and cried for a few nights, but I just patted her back to sleep and she's been fine ever since. We also picked up a small night light for her so it's not too dark. Hope that helps.
