Little energy ball

Kayla is ALL over the place now. Crawling, grabbing, clinging on to anything to get all over the house. This just started sometime last week. I give it another month or so and she'll be running around.

This shirt pretty much sums up Kayla. We tried to put her in her crib last night, and she literally cried from 11:30PM to 12:30 AM. Selina finally gave in...........

Kayla is following in her sisters footsteps...literally. She has some big ole feet.

Pony

I had a day off last Wednesday and took the kids to Toys"r"us. Kristin saw this pony and conned me into buying it for her. It was so funny, she usually never wakes up on her own, but on Friday she woke up and ran to our room. The first words out of her mouth......"Where's my Pony!?"

Little Swimmers

Today kicked off the swimming class season. Selina got them matching swimming suits, but Kayla looks like a boy in a girls suit.

Kayla loves to copy us now. She knows how to say 'ahhhhhh', clap, wave her hands bye bye, high five, 'deem chung chung', and 'fai-mun'.

Kristin's hair is getting so long......I think its time for a hair cut.

I can just imagine the 2 K's when they get older....spending hours trying to figure out what to wear.

Kristin likes to help out sometimes when I take pictures. Sometimes she helps a little too much.

I'm not sure what's going on with Kristin. Last night, she had a temperature of 102, then the next day she was fine again.

Most of the time Kayla has a serious look on her face, today she was in a pretty good mood. It's nice to see her smile every once in a while.

House Hunting

We've been looking at moving to a new home for a while now, and we finally (by we, I mean Selina) decided on this one: Paloma At Windemere.

Kristin felt right at home in the model home.


I love the formal dining area, the high ceiling is nice.


Family room is right next to the kitchen so we can watch the kids playing.


Awesome kitchen, and all the appliances are included.

You little devil

Kayla is much more clever than we think she is. She knows that when the nanny comes, its time for mommy to leave, so she grasps on tightly and doesn't let go. During feeding time, she know 'our' food is better than 'her' food and often holds out until we give her some of our food.

Kayla is feeling better now, no more fever, but she's still grumpy and not eating much.

Kristin's friend from school had a b-day party in the park today, so Kayla got to wear a nice summer dress.


Kristin always enjoys playing with her buds from school. This is Mia.

Kristin is going to be moving to the "4's" classroom at the end of this month. We're so proud of her.

It's Potty Time!

Our Nanny has been trying to potty train Kayla and she's pretty used to sitting on the toilet seat. She even went #1 when I put her on today.

Up all night

Kayla has been driving us nuts....she keeps waking up in the middle of the night crying, tossing and turning....then lets out a 'booooooot'. Then she sits up, and doesn't know how to put herself back to sleep.

Bath time

Today was a warm day, so I took Kayla outside for her bath. I think she got a bit of a shock when she realized the water wasn't her normal temperature. Selina came to the rescue with some warm water, and Kayla started enjoying herself.

Practice makes perfect

Kristin had a performance today for her ballet class. She got all dressed up, put on a little make-up and practiced at home before the big event. When she got on stage, she was too busy looking for mom and dad she ended up tripping and falling on her butt.
