This little lady had another dance performance on the weekend. Got all dressed up, make up done, for her 3 minutes of fame on stage.
I can't believe she doesn't have the slightest stage fright, whether it be in the classroom, or on stage. When I was her age, I'd be super nervous when doing anything in front of an audience.
I love her look of concentration on this shot, so serious, lol.
WOW! These are absolutely beautiful, Jason!
ReplyDeleteShe's so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThese are stunning!
ReplyDeleteShe looks like a little angel :) Great photographs!
ReplyDeleteOH so lovely. What a fantastic set of photos.
ReplyDeleteThese photos are STUNNING! I love her outfit :)

She is absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteShe really doesn't need that make-up.
Kind wishes,
Antonia
Beautifully photographed. I like how you use the clouds as a backdrop.
ReplyDeleteLove the DOF on these shots! Did you use an ND filter?
ReplyDeleteThanks all :)
ReplyDeleteAntonia, I'm not a big fan of the make-up either, but they asked the parents to put on make-up for the performance. Add to that, my wife just had to pick the brightest and reddest one they had.
Wayne, yep, I used ND4, ND8, and a circular polarizer.
You are in for soooo much trouble in a few more years.
ReplyDeleteThat little lady is gonna be a heart breaker.
WOW what beautiful shots! I love the contrast between the darkish sky and the bright spirit from your daughter. Hope she did well.
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh, she is so pretty! And so good at her poses!
ReplyDeletekristin looks like a little fairy! love particularly the "flying" shot! :)
ReplyDeleteThese photos look great. The background really pops out in each one.

ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful pictures! I was wondering could you tell us how you got the focus so clear on the rocks right at her feet but blurry in the foreground and background. Thanks
ReplyDeleteAfter watching that Toddlers and Tiaras show I think her makeup was pretty tame compared to most...lol BLUE EYES! JAZZ HANDS!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures...My favorite is her serious face one of course :)
beautiful! she looks so graceful and mature.
ReplyDeleteOustanding! I love the DOF and the use of the ND's. Curious... what lens were you using?
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, just gorgeous. Top notch photos!
ReplyDeleteShe is a fairy. Wow!
ReplyDeleteWhat lens? 85mm 1.4?
ReplyDeleteLOL @ Tish, JAZZ HANDS!
ReplyDeleteMastering the Chaos/pcphotography / Anonymous, I used a 85 1.4, mostly shot near wide open for shallow DOF.
Congratulations for having such a beautiful and talented daughter! :)
ReplyDeleteJason, your photos are fantastic! Love your creativity. What was your light source? It looks like maybe a very large softbox? Looking forward to seeing more of your photos!
ReplyDeleteHi Blake, light source was a 50" soft box
