Happy Birthday Kristin!

kristin_kayla_0015

Kristin turns 6 today. Per her request, we went to Children's Discovery Museum for an early Birthday celebration yesterday. As usual, she was all cheesy smiles when we got there.

I love these little hats.

I love the look of amazement on her face. I think she was playing with the big etch a sketch machine they had.

I forget what these are called, but Kayla was captivated by the running horse.

  6. Awesome photos man! Happy birthday to Kristin!!! Wow, she's starting to look like a big little girl. Enjoy it while it lasts, then you'll have to buy a shotgun to scare off the boys.

  7. It's called a zoetrope but how you captured the little horses inside is beyond me. Another absolutely stunning batch of photos. You are a freakin' genius!

  14. Jason,

Your pics at the Children's discovery museum made me nostalgic. I used to work at the Franklin institute in Philly that would be a great spot for a b-day next year.

The spinning animation device with the horses is called a zoetrope. It was proceeded by the phenakistoscope which is one of my favorite words. It is just fun to say.
