Best. Kids. Ever. Each of them wrapped up a present for me and hid them in different parts of the house. Of course they couldn't keep quiet and quickly revealed the locations of the hidden presents well in advance of Fathers Day. And here are the awesome 'gifts' they picked out. They know me too well.

ReplyDeleteSo sweet. I particularly liked their answers to question 7.
ReplyDeleteThose gifts are perfection! Great interview - I did a very shortened version for my husband, it was quite interesting. "Where is Daddy's favorite place to go?"
ReplyDelete4 year old: To work
2 year old: Around the castle and back.
Ha!
And I still can't get the fact that you have an In and Out burger nearby out of my head. Color me jealous!
these are so fun!
ReplyDeletei've asked one of my kiddos all the questions. i'll ask the other one when she wakes up from her nap and post their answers later today. check in this evening if you like. :)

Hi
ReplyDeleteJust happened to find your blog today, and I absolutely love the photos of your children! So much that I had to go through all your posts! (That took me a while!) You have the cutest kids ever! I especially like the classic portraits and also the colourful outdoor-setting portraits.
I'd love to be able to take photos like these of my son! Are you an educated photographer or are you self-taught? Any tips about good web pages to learn more? I do have some equipment, the latest Canon Rebel Xsi and a canon Speedlite 430 ex II.
Do you Photoshop a lot (except those that obviously are photoshopped)?
Have a great weekend!
Best,
Linda
Hi Linda,
ReplyDeleteI am self taught, and yes, I use a little bit of photoshop, but in general, the editing I do is mostly in Lightroom. Hope that helps.
Cheers.
oh I have to that too!! wondering what my son will say :) sounds like lots of fun ! again - the picture is a m a z i n g !! I really admire your work !
ReplyDeletegreetings from Poland
Great idea and such cute answers. I did the same with my 8 year old here: http://somewordswhatiwrote.blogspot.com/2009/07/jonny-sports-day.html
ReplyDeleteHi Jason - I stumbled on your blog somehow and just love, LOVE the humour in your photographs as well as your mad skills with the camera and lighting. I just finally began using the manual setting on my Nikon D70 so I am very amateurish. Anyway, I thought I'd chime in to this post (as old as it is) since I had my two boys answers your interview questions. Here are their answers ... http://morrissey.ca/blog/2011/09/21/forty-five/
ReplyDeleteHaha. Blaming each other on what makes you sad. So cute! Kayla really seems to like Costco :P
