Nutcracker

I can't believe Kristin has been taking ballet for almost 4 years now. Looking back at old posts, I can't believe how much she as grown.

Recital

Kristin had her first piano recital last week. She played "We wish you a Merry Christmas" and did a stellar job. Really proud of her. I have to try and figure out how to convert this video we took and upload it. She has never really had stage fright, and that night was no exception. However, it was funny to see her run up to the piano, place her notes on top, play the song, then quickly run off leaving her notes laying there. I had to tell her to go back and grab the sheets.

Pile it on

Fall/winter is the best time of year for the kids. Thanksgiving, Christmas, presents, and vacations. The kids also love seeing the seasons change, leaves falling on the ground, and best of all, making leaf piles and jumping in.

Thankful

I thought this was the sweetest thing. While other kids had written they were thankful for toys, games, and other material items, Kayla had written she was thankful for her family.



Some humor for your Thanksgiving day. While listening to Justin Bieber, Kayla asks, is that a girl singing? We explain to her, no, it's a boy. He just hasn't gone through puberty so his voice sounds a little like a girl. Once he goes through puberty, his voice will change and sound more deeper. A few minutes pass by. "Daddy, have you gone through Pilgrim yet, since your voice doesn't sound like a girl?"
