Following in her footsteps

Kayla is going to be just like Kristin

I think she's coming down with something, not too sure. Her temperature is not quite at fever temps, but she definitely feels warm. Luckily she's still in a cheery mood.

My New Hat

I took the 2 K's for a stroll since it was so nice outside. Kayla really enjoyed going out, and stayed awake the whole time even though I know she was tired.

Happy Valentines Day

Kristin came home with a bag full of Valentines day cards, and someone even gave her a flower lollipop.

Of course she tried to attack me with it.

Kayla didn't get any Valentines.......

so her big sis gave her a big Valentines Day hug.

Kristin even shared all her Valentine cards with Kayla.

Kayla was so excited, she really enjoyed playing with the cards.

Rain Rain Go Away

Finally some dry weather to let the 'K's play outside. Kayla always loves going outside.

But I think Kristin likes it even more.

6 months

Kayla turned 6 months old today. How time flies when you're having fun..
This was 5 days after she was born:

This is her today:

Kristin thought it would be a good idea to put the 6 on her forehead.

It was all in good fun, Kayla had no complaints.

"C" is for Cookie

MMMMM, cooookie...........

What are you looking at, this is MINE!

Of course she wasn't really eating it, but she sure enjoyed gnawing on it with her gums. When it came down to eating her 'real' food, this is what her expression was like:

This was the first time giving her avocado, and you can tell she really didn't care for it too much. We then switched to rice cereal and she started lunging forward to eat the cereal.

Kristin was just happy she didn't have to eat baby food anymore.
