Missing Stocking

Now that we have a new member in the family, we needed to add another stocking. Luckily, there's still plenty of room over the fireplace to add more stockings. Now finding that extra stocking.....where did I put it?


Oh, here it is!


Pirates of the Caribbean 2 came out on DVD yesterday, can't wait to watch it. I know Kayla's ready for it too.

Chomp Chomp Chomp

Here's Kayla chomping away at her fingers again.



She finally stopped eating her hand after about 5 minutes. Probably figured out no milk was coming out of her hands.

We've been debating the use of a pacifier for the longest time, but it seems to be the only thing that can stop Kayla from crying all the time. Look, it's Hannibal Lecter.

We bought some new shoes for Kristin during the weekend. She has some HUGE feet!

Hide and Seek

I love playing hide and seek with Kristin. She always cracks me up. Hmmm, I wonder where she could be hiding?


When ever I call out "ready or not, here I come", she pops her head out and screams "I'M RIGHT HERE, I'M RIGHT HERE!"

It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas



We put up our tree today, and as usual, it was a major pain. I think next year we're going to buy a real tree. Kristin had a great time helping with the ornament placement.







Kayla just sat there and watched. By this time next year, I predict she'll be pulling all the ornaments of the tree.

While Kristin prefers sweet snacks, Kayla likes to snack on her own fingers. It's amazing how their personalities are so different. Kristin was such an easy going baby, never cried, never sucked on her thumbs, slept on her own, and ate on a regular schedule. Kayla is the TOTAL opposite. At least she's starting to sleep through the night. Unfortunately, she's sleeping on our bed to do so.
