I want Applesauce

Every day after school, I always offer Kristin a snack. I try to give her something healthy, usually some type of fruit. I asked her if she wanted an apple. Her response was "No". I then asked her if she wanted a banana. Her response again was "No". She then replied, "But I don't want a snack, I want Applesauce!"

We haven't tried any new solids for Kayla lately, maybe tonight I'll give her something new.

Ouchie

Kristin fell and bumped her head at school today. This is the 2nd time this month. Last time was not as bad as this time though.

Her Chucky cheered her up though.

"I like you Daddy"

Kristin is so funny. Last night during dinner, we were discussing her classmates and her teachers. I started asking her, “Who do you like better, ________ or ________?” She always gave an honest answer, and then I asked her, “Who do you like better, Miss Beverly or Daddy”? She responded, “I like Miss Beverly”. My heart sank when I heard that. But being the clever girl she is, she immediately said, “But I like you Daddy!” “I like everybody!” lol, she’s too cute.

I hope Kayla will like me better than her teachers : (

Peek-a-BOO!

Kayla LOVES playing peek-a-boo. It's the sure fire way to get her to laugh.

This time around, big sis joined in on the fun. She kept yanking down the blanket before I could say BOO! She was cracking up like crazy.

Kristin loves little sis, and gave her a little kiss.....

and a hug.

The 'Real' Great Outdoors

After Kristin's ballet class, we went outside right next to the community center and let Kristin run around, which is her favorite thing to do.

See? She just loves to run around.

And she loves to play hide and seek too.
"You're always finding me Daddy!"

Ballet class part 4

Where was part 3? Well, today was class number 4, and it was stated in the course outline that we would be able to observe 'in class' during the 4th class rather then peeking through windows to watch them. Last week I didn't take my camera since I figured I would be able to take 'real' pictures of Kristin, but today parents were locked out again : (

When Kristin gets excited, she shakes her hands.

Time to stretch.

Then we dance.

After class, they each get a sticker to put in their sticker book.

Fishing

Friday night is family night, and we've designated it as games night. Last night we played 'Fishin' Around', which is Kristin's favorite game at the moment.

Rain Rain Go Away

Brought the K's out to the backyard again, and the sky was looking gloomy. Weather forecast hinted that there would be some rain, but it was clear and beautiful today so I brought them out to play anyways.

With my luck, it started to rain a few minutes after I brought them out.

The Great Outdoors

Well, not really, it was just the backyard. I set Kayla down on the grass and she didn't care for it too much. You can tell by the expression that she didn't like the grass poking her.

She eventually got used to it, but since the grass wasn't level, she kept trying to balance herself with her arms. It looks like she's pretending to be an airplane.

Finally she got the hang of it, and was sitting pretty steady.

Then the two K's starting playing together. I love watching them interact, it's so cute.

6 hours

That's how long Kayla slept last night. So we finally got a decent night of sleep which I think was due to giving her some solid food right before she went to bed. Now we have to work on getting her to sleep in her own bed.

I'm a lion! Hear me ROAR!

Kristin brought home this mask she made at school. It's supposed to be a lion. She was roaring and growling like a lion all afternoon.

Kayla didn't like all that growling.

Don't worry Kayla, it's just pretend.
